Port Macquarie's newest attraction 'The Coastal Walk' has just been completed, providing access to one of NSW's most dramatic and inspiring coastlines. The nine kilometre walk hugs the coast and takes in beaches, headlands, historic sites and subtropical rainforest.
Another new attraction in town is The Little Brewing Company. Here you can discover the passion and processes behing Port's pioneering and award-winning boutique brewery with a tour and tasting.

Port Macquarie has had a long history of producing food and wine of exceptional quality. Olives, cheese, herbs, spices, nuts and exotic fruits are just a few of the choices, as well as beautiful fresh seafood. Follow the winery trail to experience the unique soft wines that flourish in the region, including the distinctive French variety, Chambourcin. Visit the cellar doors of the local wineries including Cassegrain, Bago, Innes Lake, Long Point and Douglas Vale Vineyards.
Just 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie take the stunning coastal drive to Camden Haven. Stop in at Armstrong's Oysters for a 'shucking' demonstration, see the views from North Brother Mountain and treat yourself to home-made cakes and ice-cream at Lorne Valley Macadamia Farm.
You'll also fin no shortage of restaurants around Port Macquarie. Local hot spots at night include Fusion 7, Restaurant Splash, The Corner, Stunned Mullet and Synergy. Or for a long lunch there is Ca Marche & Little Fish Cafe.
Equally as varied is the accommodation available. Whilst still retaining its relaxed and unspoilt charm, Port Macquarie now offers new levels of luxury for a romanitc getaway with accommodation at 16 four-star and above apartments and hotels.
