Torquay is a seaside holiday resort located at the eastern end of the Great Ocean Road. With famous Bells Beach located nearby, Torquay is known as the 'Surf Capital of Australia' and it is also a popular fishing spot. Torquay's beaches, with their English-style foreshores, are, of course, its raison d'etre.
