Information about Moina:
Moina is a small and attractive former goldmining settlement located 321 km north of Tasmania and to the west of Launceston. More particularly, Moina is set amidst rugged country on the western side of Lake Cethana and at the southern end of Lake Gairdner, 16 km west of Gowrie Park. Moina has a fine arts and crafts centre while, to the south of Moina, is Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park which is part of Tasmania's World Heritage area. Excellent holiday accommodation is available at Moina.
