Mandalong is a locality at the edge of the Olney State Forest, 130 km north of Sydney. Located just 5 km south-west of Morisset, Mandalong is beautifully situated in a little valley amidst the Watagan Mountains behind Lake Macquarie. Owing to its setting, Mandalong is an ideal spot for bushwalking and exploring the scenic drives through the Watagans which take in some exceptional lookouts. Mandalong is also just a few minutes from the coastal recreation afforded by Lake Macquarie and the Tuggerah Lakes. Visitors to Mandalong can enjoy some secluded bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
