Information about Caves Beach:
Caves Beach is a popular surfing area just south of the ocean entrance to Lake Macquarie. Part of the Swansea area, Caves Beach has a waterfront recreation reserve and the beach is patrolled in summer. On the elevated land just west of Caves Beach is a lookout (off Scenic Drive) offering 360-degree views of the area. Visitors to the area can also enjoy elegant serviced accommodation opposite Caves Beach.
