Information about Seal Rocks:
Seal Rocks is a small, quiet, very beautiful and somewhat isolated beach town south of Forster-Tuncurry. There are some very real attractions: unspoilt surfing beaches, a noted diving spot, idyllic picnic areas and the spectacularly beautiful Seal Rocks Lighthouse (1875) which overlooks an attractive beach and Seal Rocks themselves - a group of offshore rocky outcrops which are home to the northernmost colony of Australian Fur Seals. Binoculars improve the view. The road out to Seal Rocks Lighthouse offers some excellent views over the ocean, beach and shoreline. Excellent getaway accommodation is available at Seal Rocks.
