Barrington Tops National Park, situated on the northern escarpment of the Hunter Valley, is an ideal setting for those interested in bushwalking, scenic drives, swimming, horseriding, cycling, camping, trail-bike riding and canoeing. The southern section of Barrington Tops is accessed through Dungog or East Gresford and the northern section through Gloucester. Sites of interest at Barrington Tops are the Williams River Day Use Area, Williams Top Lookout, the Peach Tree Picnic Area and the superb Mt Allyn Lookout. In the northern section is the Devils Hole Lookout Area. Fine bushland accommodation is available at Barrington Tops.
